One of the best Kebap places in Como (ofc, in Italian terms, since kebaps in Italy are generally bad, compared, for example, with Germany, or, even Poland. Here you get a kind of a restaurant atmosphere mostly thanks to the fact that they have waiters (and clean dishes, which is quite rare for kebaps in Italy; I mean, having dishes at all puts this place into a kebab Michelen star place). Prices are slightly higher, like 0.5 or 1 year more than the average, yet you don't tip there, so consider this as a mere service fee, which, in this case, is quite low, especially compared to the standard Italian fee of 2 eurs per person (and good service is far from being guaranteed:). We had an amazing dining experience at Gold Kebap Grill in Como! We tried the Adana Kebap, Mixed Grill, and Doner Kebap—each dish was packed with authentic flavor and cooked to perfection. The Adana was beautifully spiced, the Mixed Grill offered a generous and satisfying variety, and the Doner was tender and juicy.

The food was so good that we came back the very next day to eat here again—something we rarely do when traveling! The service was friendly and the atmosphere casual but welcoming.

Ero solito venire sempre in questo ristorante con la mia famiglia. Il mese scorso ci siamo tornati e abbiamo ordinato. Durante l'ordinazione, ho scoperto che i proprietari del ristorante erano cambiati. Comunque, abbiamo fatto il nostro ordine e i piatti sono arrivati. Io ho preso il solito kebab che ordino ogni volta. Mentre mangiavo, ho sentito qualcosa scoppiare in bocca. Ho sputato il cibo in un tovagliolo e poi sono andato in bagno a vomitare. Quando ho controllato il tovagliolo, ho notato che c'erano dei pezzi di vetro all'interno.

Abbiamo subito informato il cameriere, ma nessuno si è interessato. Successivamente sono andato alla cassa per spiegare la situazione. Sapevano già dell'accaduto, ma volevano vedere il tovagliolo e i frammenti di vetro. Ho percepito una certa malafede in questa richiesta, perché dopo aver detto al cameriere che avevamo trovato del vetro nel cibo, nessuno ci ha chiesto come stavamo o si è scusato. Al contrario, hanno ignorato la questione e quando hanno chiesto di vedere il tovagliolo, mi sono reso conto che stavano agendo con intenzioni sospette.

Ho portato il tovagliolo e hanno visto i frammenti di vetro. Ma poi mi hanno detto una cosa che mi ha lasciato senza parole: "Nel nostro cibo, specialmente nel kebab, non può esserci del vetro". Ero sbalordito, come se stessi mentendo. Ho ribadito che avevo delle ferite in bocca e che avevamo trovato del vetro nel cibo. Non avendo altro da dire, si sono scusati dicendo: "Non volevamo dire questo, ci scusiamo."

Il mio consiglio è di non andare mai in questo locale. Cercano di coprire i loro errori e non si assumono responsabilità. Se deciderete di andarci, controllate il vostro cibo due volte.
