B&B Le dame della Cortesella — Hotel in Como

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Ilaria at her beautiful BnB. She was a fantastic host! Prior to arriving, she was available to answer any questions that we had and during our stay she was available to us in this way as well. Her BnB is immaculate, charming, clean and very comfortable. It makes you feel like you are both a guest in Italy and also like you "live" there for a short bit. Her breakfast was delicious and the perfect way to start our day. We slept well and were very happy with both the room and bathroom amenities. The location was ideal - only a few blocks from the pedestrian area of Como and a 15 or so minute walk from the lakefront. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can't thank Ilaria enough for her attentiveness, guidance, hospitality and sincere care. We are not frequent guests of Bed & Breakfast inns, but this may change our pattern. The location was perfect, a few blocks from the old town of Como. The accommodations were comfortable, a good value and immaculately clean. The breakfast provided was nutritious and delicious. Best of all, however, was our hostess, Ilaria.||I cannot say enough good things about Ilaria. She was warm, gracious and hospitable. She provided excellent recommendations on what to see (local markets), where to eat and tips to make our lives easier, such as what time we needed to get to the dock to purchase tickets for the boats on Lake Como. Ilaria is a great host with amazing energy, contagious positivity and vast knowledge about Como and its surroundings. She'll help you plan your trip, give you amazing tips about sightseeing and most important - where and what to eat. She will also go out of her way to make reservations for you (or call the train line to check if they aren't striking).||||As for the B&B - it was much more than what I could have imagined. The location is perfect - walking distance away from everything important (city center, lake, train station, parking, shops etc.). It is very, very cozy and tastefully decorated, you'll find everything you need there and if not, just ask. Our room was quiet and we felt very safe.||||Keep doing what you are doing, Ilaria.
