Today my wife wanted to go in this place because she loves these vintage stores. There was some good clothes and bikes and things. My wife decided she had to use the bathroom while shopping and so she walked into the bathroom to relieve herself. There was no lock on the door, so I stood guard to ensure nobody walked in on my wife. A moment later the store owner walked past me and slammed open the door and started yelling at my wife while she sat on the toilet saying that it was not a public restroom. Read moreMelrose Vintage in Florence / Firenze is probably one of my favourite stores I have eve been to in my life. I've been to vintage stores in many cities in Canada, the USA, Australia, the UK, Germany, and other parts of Italy. This one stands out as my favourite.
First of all, the store is very big and has an amazing selection. I expected a small store like many others are in historic areas, but it had a series of large rooms. The prices felt very reasonable and good, especially in Florence where other stores had high prices. The items for sale are well curated and chosen. The staff are kind, helpful, interesting and pleasant.
I bought flare pants they repaired and made into flare pants at the store. If you like unique fashion this is the place to go. It is also better foe the environment to fix old stuff like that!!
If you go to Florence this is the #1 store you need to go to and buy from. No Gucci museum or luxury brand can compare to the coolness, vibes and beauty ...
