Very nice mid-sized theatre in an impressive location next to the opera house, with two screens. It seems like they have lots of films showing, and the ones I recognized were older and recent great ones. Many films from the US but also from Europe and elsewhere. The films are usually in their original language with Italian subtitles. Food & drink is sold in the lobby that you can bring into the theater or have out on the patio in front, great for people watching! Nice theater with plenty of seating. There is just one showing room but we had a great experience watching the movie, the volume was perfect. I don't believe tickets are available for online purchase. It was pretty packed on a Wednesday night (since there was only one showing that day) so I recommend getting to the theater a bit early. Meraviglioso cinema storico (forse l'ultimo) accanto al tearro Massimo di Palermo che conserva il fascino di andare in un vero cinema d'altri tempi. Situato in un elegantissimo palazzo liberty costruito appositamente per vere la sala al pianterreno con un meraviglioso foyer! Ho avuto modo di parlare con i proprietari gentilissimi e non posso che apprezzare gli immensi sforzi che fanno per mantenere il cinema con amore. Programmazione curata con film per i quali si impegnano ad avere sempre le prime proiezioni in lingua originale! Tralaltro organizzano bellissime rassegne di cinema d'autore con presentazioni sempre piene di giovani. Naturalmente sempre in lingua originale! La bellissima sala di ingresso ospita anche un bar con dei tavolini sotto i fivus accanto al teatro Massimo.
