There is something seriously wrong with the service on the ground floor. Although there were many assistants around they only had one cash desk open. That meant time wasted searching around for the one cash desk that is open & then long queues waiting to be served as everyone has to go to that same cash desk. Even customers from the shoe department had to pay for their shoes at the cash desk in the beauty department. This is what happened when I visited on 2 separate occasions at 2 different times. The service in the food hall was not good at all, however. There were no baskets on that floor and we were told to go downstairs to pay with our arms obviously full of purchases. No help or baskets were offered. Once downstairs we were told items taken from the discount area were in fact not discounted. Hardly any staff, all a bit of a mess, and it put me off shopping there again sadly. But recommend the rooftop bar as a nice start or end...

I wanted to browse the food section, but was physically blocked by a member of staff who insisted on knowing what I was looking for before I could get past the escalator. I'm fluent in italian so this wasn't a language problem, she just wanted to walk round with me and 'make sure I found everything I needed'.
