I first came across Modwear 4 years ago, on a trip to Palermo. Upon arrival, I was greeted in true, "Palermitano style," by Salvo ... it was as if we had already known each other. During those 2 weeks in Palermo, I would go past the shop each day - some days to buy, other days just to chat ... and have a 🍺 During the following 4 years, whenever I needed anything, Salvo would always come through with the goods (literally) eventhough I live in country, far, far away. Always reliable, Modwear is a shop that you can trust. I recently returned to Palermo, and again, everyday for 2 weeks I would find myself at the shop - buying, drinking, laughing, but most of all, maintaining my friendship I have with Salvo, and the love I have for him, and for Modwear. Next time you are in Palermo, it is a MUST to go and visit Modwear ... even if you don't buy, go in, have a look around, have a chat ... and who knows, maybe you to might fall in love with Modwear,...

I was surprised and thrilled to find this store while on holidays. The clothing range is fantastic , from Ben Sherman to home designed target (RAF) T-shirts, parkas, Harrington Jackets and Lambretta gear. I wish this shop was available in my own country. The owner offered me a beer as I perused the clothing and music range, while listening to The Who . I just wish this was available when I was younger, but style always shows regardless of age. The owner also runs a Mod bar across the street and the pics, music and decor is fantastic. The Scooter with mirrors and sprayed side panels sitting in the middle of the show room, while the “Who’s Next “ album was blaring was fantastic. Well done Salvadore, what an experience , I could have stayed there all day. Well...

When i have seen this shop, i was thinking that i am in a movie, because there are a lot of my favorite clothes brands and also a vintage & vinyl inside! Nice music is playing, and, of course you can crab a beer…And the owner, Salvatore, is very pleasant and polite man, it is very interesting to listen to him, because you are on the same wave, you know… He has also a bar near, unfortunately, i haven’t opportunity to see this.
