This niche perfume store has one of the best selections of fragrances in one place that I’ve ever seen, and with too many to list. Clearly the proprietor of the store is a fragrance enthusiast and wildly passionate. She helped me find a couple of fragrances and what I loved was that she freely gave her confident opinions of fragrances on me and others. I thought a couple options smelled nice but she resoundingly said no and pointed me to ones that better suited my vibe. And she was absolutely right; that is passion. Während unseres Urlaubs in Kroatien / Italien haben wir einen Tagesausflug nach Triest gemacht. Für mich als Parfumsammlerin durfte da ein Abstecher in die ein oder andere Parfümerie nicht fehlen. Die Profumeria Essenze hat mich von Anfang an begeistert. Als wir die kleine Parfümerie betraten war ich zunächst geflasht von den vielen wunderschönen Flakons auf engstem Raum. Die Besitzerin begrüßte uns sehr freundlich und stellte uns in den folgenden 45 Minuten sehr leidenschaftlich unzählige Düfte vor. Trotz, dass ich schon sehr viele Düfte besitze, schaffte sie es, mich mit neuen, mir unbekannten Düften und Dufthäusern zu überraschen. Die Parfümerie führt nur Nischendüfte, u.a. bekannte Nischenmarken wie Frédéric Malle, Amouage, Xerjoff, Nishane, Juliette has a Gun, Diptyque, Clive Christian, Creed u.v.m., aber auch Dufthäuser, die man nicht überall findet, wie z. B. Nobile 1942, Tauer, Perroy, Jusbox, Aedes de Venustas, Orto Parisi, Le Labo, Akro und Fornasetti. Die Auswahl ist fast schon überwältigend. Die Besitzerin kennt tatsächlich die Duftnoten eines jeden Parfüms und bietet sehr viele Düfte an. Sie sprüht die Düfte auch auf die Haut und schnuppert dann selbst, ob sich der Duft auf der Haut gut entfaltet und zu der Person passt. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Man fühlte sich gut beraten und musste nicht betteln, wenn man mehr als 5 Düfte testen wollte. Ich kann diese Parfümerie jedem empfehlen, der einen besonderen Duft und fachlich gute Beratung sucht. I have been there a couple of times and I agree with previous reviews. The owner is very nice, listens patiently to her client to understand exactly what they are looking for. She has a lot of boutique perfumes that you will not find in chain stores. She lets you try different perfumes and if you don't find the perfect one, she will ask you to come back at another time rather than try to convince you to buy a perfume you liked less.
