3 years in a row this is a culinary port for me.. Every time I land here I have a nice experience served with home cooked tasty food.. Today's porcini dish tasted liked it was picked just from the forest.. The family is auhentic, friendly and very hospitable.. Buffet triestino conosciuto e noto dove fare buoni pranzi o spuntini. Oltre a crema di zucchine e spinaci, purtroppo ho ordinato 1/4 di Prosecco. Al momento del conto mi rendo conto che qs è esagerato. Controllo lo scontrino e leggo menù fisso 21,50€. Rientro e la persona che mi aveva fatto lo scontrino mi dice "so perché sei tornato". Gli dico "mi sembra esagerato 7€ per 1/4 di Prosecco". Mi risponde "non lo teniamo sfuso, ho aperto una bottiglia, scusa se non ti ho avvisato". Ovviamente non era previsto un rimborso. Il resto della bottiglia lo avrà buttato nel lavandino o lo avrà rivenduto ad altri due chiedevano un quartino sempre a 7€ a testa? Le tre stelle sono un regalo. L'episodio...

A charming spot that’s clearly a local favorite—we were the only non-Italians there. The food was excellent. We ordered five different dishes to share, and each one was cooked to perfection. The quality-to-price ratio was outstanding.

Mama i ja smo se sasvim slučajno našle pred ovim restoranom. Restoran nas je odmah osvojio svojom ležernom atmosferom,ni previše fino, ni previše obično, taman za uživanje bez pritiska. Ja sam se odlučila za njoke s povrćem, mama za oradu u škartocu — i obje smo ostale bez teksta, osim “Mmm!” i “Ajme, ovo je prefino!”Hrana je bila toliko dobra da smo se sutradan vratile, što se ne događa često. Sutradan sam jela lazanje i rekla vau napokon dobre lazanje. Ugođaj je vrhunski, osoblje srdačno i profesionalno, a cijelo iskustvo čista desetka. Ako me put ponovno nanese u Trst, bez dileme se vraćam.
