Today, on mountain day (they are open folks!), the husband and wife team served a full house. But they did so with such attention and care, that we felt so homey. Probably the best udon noodle I've had in Japan. They are not too thick and the perfect chewiness. The broth is super light, but flaverful. I recommand having the meat and vegetables tempura. The poach egg is also super good (it make the broth creamier and rich). I had the large portion (+100y) and it was HUGE. Maybe the normal portion is enough. Very cheap for the delicious food...

Found this little gem on the way cycling to Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine. Cozy little restaurant but the udon is amazing!

The black sauce condiment is nice, suggest to try putting it into your udon halfway through eating to enhance the flavor. Price I think it's very...
