We went there in the evening. It is held by a very nice lady. We took some ramen, cold tofu and gyoza. Everything was very good and tasty. The pork reminded me of the south italian porchetta. Sooo good. The cold tofu was soft and smooth. It was definitely worth getting outside of the main touristy spots to have an authentic tasty Japanese dinner.

Not only were they open beyond the frustratingly 7 pm closing time of most good places, the owner/ manager (she single handedly manages the place) was a busy we getting our orders and take out ready. Simple and yet so tasty. My 5 yo loved his shio ramen n gyoza so much “best restaurant ever!!” Very well done!!

Wonderfully unassuming restaurant with a lovely owner/operator who cooked a delicious meal for us - despite not knowing much English, she was happy to serve us, which we were grateful for. Ramen, gyoza, tofu and fried rice all were delicious. Lovely to see the photo of her and her mum up on the wall whom she was happy to share how they used to cook together. Love finding honest places like this to dine, away from the usual gaijin tourist traps....
