We had a wonderful 1-week stay at apartment 102! The host was kind since the beginning, as I had a couple of questions before booking. We were working remotely while travelling, so I wanted to make sure we would have a table for the laptops. We could easily have stayed here for months.
The flat is fully equipped with great quality kitchen appliances. We cooked breakfast and dinner every day, and we had everything we needed. The host left coffee, tea, biscuits, and some seasonings. Laundry machines were top quality, too.
The bathroom and washroom were excellent (for those who are not used to this system, you need to turn the boiler on so the water heats. You can find the boiler pannel at the bathtub and in the kitchen). A lot of amenities were provided, though we had our own, so we didn't use them.
There are two rooms in the flat, we used one as living room (TV room) and kept our luggage there. Used the other one as bedroom. Futtons were extremely comfortable. We had perfect nights of sleep, I'm a light sleeper - it was extremely quiet and comfy in the room.
The temperature was around 2-0 during the night for December. There are ACs in the rooms, and the heating option works wonders. Portable heaters can be used for the kitchen and bathroom.
The bikes seemed brand new and were the perfect addition to the flat! We cycled every day. If you have a car, you will be literally 5 minutes away from some attractions, others won't be far away - we did not have a car but had no problem at all, the location is excellent.
We asked the hosts to help to book a taxi to the station at the end of our stay, the lady was extremely kind and took us there herself 🙏🏻💖 I'm forever grateful for that.
I can't recommend this place enough. We had unforgettable days at Fujiyoshida - arigatou...
Read moreThe parking number 203 was difficult to get into, it was totally on the right most side and on top of that there’s a car on the left side. When you get inside the apartment, there’s a strong smell of old apartment, this can’t be helped because it is very old. It seems clean but the towels can be replaced. They’re super old and have become very rough to use on the skin.
Add: There were flying bugs in the TV room. Facilities are really old, I wish they’re generous enough to provide the basics such as warm toilet which is normal in every Japanese household. Even the shower is hard to use because it twists and bends on its own. There’s no knife in the kitchen. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, body soap if you dont want to use cheap, possibly harmful Daiso products. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend staying here for ¥14,000 for two nights. It’s just not worth it, the only good thing about this place is its location. Hoping that this review will help the owner realize the need for...
Read moreWe stayed at the Fujisan You Apartment 203 for two nights and absolutely loved it!
Yes, the apartment is dated, BUT it is spacious, and comfortable. It has 2 separate bedrooms with tatami floors, separate kitchen with washing machine, dryer, full size fridge etc. The only problem was operating the tabletop stove.
The Apartment 203 beautiful view to Mt. Fuji !!! (other rooms don't)
The owner also 6 bikes you can borrow (free of charge) for local exploration.
The location is very good - it is only 8 min walk from 7/11, 10 min walk from Gekkouji train station (to Tokyo) and 18 min walk to Fujisan bus and...
