The udon noodles here are very fresh tasting and good. The texture is great, soft but chewy, and is a 5. I had the Premium Tempura Cold Udon. The soup was refreshing with a twist of lemon and added dashes of the niboshi (dried fish) infused vinegar, upping the Umami and adding a cooling, refreshing taste on a hot humid afternoon. Soup, maybe in-between a 4 and 4.5. The Tempura (single pieces of shrimp, chicken, chikuwa and a soft poached egg) were served hot and crispy. For the non-set menus you can order less, regular, x1.5 or x2 the quantity of udon noodles. A nice touch. The regular volume is enough for most, 2 for the super appetites, 1.5 for the hungry. Overall very satisfying. One of the waitresses had a wonderful smile and personality. Will go back when...

With that disclaimer, the Udon here is possibly the best I have ever had. The noodles are firm (not silky and soft), just how they should be. The lovely waitress told us they make their noodles daily on the premises with four different kinds of flour.
The tempura was excellent, lightly fried and not oily. The Wagyu was rich and soft too, didn't even require any extra tsuyu sauce.
This restaurant only opened in April 2024 and as such is still unknown. This time time next year there will be hour-long lines out the front, I absolutely guarantee it.
If you're in Kamakura, get your lunch here before the crowds discover it, you will not be...
Read moreProbably one of the best udon I’ve ever eaten. I chose the very simple freshly boiled udon with raw egg and butter and it was really tasty. As the food, the service was really good, the menu is fully translated. Also, what I ordered was written to be longer to cook so they asked the kitchen while taking everyone’s order and I had my food at the same time as everyone else. The shop wasn’t crowded and we didn’t queue, also it’s spacious and well lit so even if it was I believe it wouldn’t feel too packed or overwhelming. I want to go back to Kamakura just to eat these...
