Saw this small hidden restaurant around Hase Temple, tried their lunch set and added on marinated raw Shirasu fish. We were so surprised with the taste of the fish, super good to eat it with the rice. But please go there earlier (we were there around 2-3pm) if you would like to try raw shirasu fish between the freshness time that they can keep and before sold out.

Had a wonderful lunch here in 2019 October. The meal was so delicious and wholesome, plus the owner prepared eating instructions in English for tourists, very thoughtful and shows so much pride in his craft. Highly recommend everyone to try this restaurant, you will not regret your decision!

My family, as a group of 7, visited Kotoku-in and after that we tried to find a place for lunch. Actually we do not eat raw fish but with the thoughtfulness of the owner, he allow customizing his menu to boiled fish and boiled egg in miso soup. The taste was great and we all ate them all. Really thank you to his service especially he welcomed our group while most of the restaurants prefer 2 people or 1 people. Recommended for foreigners to visit this place. ❤️🙏❤️ oh…yes I forgot to say about the eating instruction in English. This is really...
