On our last day in Kobe while walking to the Maritime Military museum I happened on this ship…… oh my gosh it is a veritable Aladdins cave of jewels!! Walking round there are shelves upon shelves , row after row of beads, pearls, precious and semi precious stones. It took me a little while walking ground to figure out how things worked there. I saw 4 young ladies and a gentleman crafting jewellery to customers designs. My other half was very insistent that I order something to be made . Of course I resisted ….. just for a second !!! I some black peatls and an after much deliberation and advice from the young lady who was making them we decided on a style …. This was filled was a bracelet also of black pearl. I couldn’t praise that young lady enough . She is talented craftsperson, and so helpful …. All the staff were so pleasant. I would recommend if you’re in that area pay a visit . You will come out smiling and bejewelled.
