Kumamoto City Hall — Local services in Kumamoto

Until now I’ve only ever had easy and quick interactions at city hall, even with receiving the My Number card the first time, but today was a terrible experience. After receiving my new Residence Card I went to city hall to update my My Number Card as instructed the last time I was there. However, it was never stated, is not clearly specified on any of the documents or the Kumamoto city website, that you must do so before the expiry of the card. I was instructed the last time that as soon as I received the card, I should come to City Hall. The discussion of this point, my liability and the explanation from the City Hall staff then became the basis of our disagreement. The head staff of the My Number department was incredibly rude and dismissive. The red tape that binds procedure at this office is appalling and the staff were completely unhelpful.

Be aware that they look down on foreigners and are very unhelpful unless you are...

Just walk in, take elevator to 14F, no need to ask anyone. And enjoy some time to see Kumamoto city. Maybe only 10-15mins.

What impressed me is the city government allowing tourist to come without any procedure or policy. I really appreciate such trust and openness.

The view is ok. As it is not high enough. But still can see far stretch of the city.

ゆりかごの件（病院）でのニュースを観て市長さんが市として対応されていましたので市民のひとりとしてうれしく思います。 あの子の人生が良き人生になることを願っています。 今後もこのようなことがあるかもしれませんぜひその時は今回と同じくと言いますか何か子供たちのために市として何か行動して頂ければと思います。 別の病院のことなんですが旧市民病院の解体工事の件で周辺住民の方が騒音で困るって問題がありましたが確か市長さんが住民の方たちに会いに行かれたことがあったと思いますあのことも素晴らしく思えましたなかなか当たり前って行動ができない人もいますので。 何のことか思い出せないのですが国の対応が良くないと発言されていたこともありました良くないことは良くないとハッキリ言えるってスゴイ！と思いましたリーダーとはこうあってほしいと感じます。 ここからは私個人的な要望お願いなんですが。 市民にはいろんな理由原因で困っている人がいると思いますのでそういう方たちに対しても対応をお願いできればと思います。 例えば。 就職氷河期世代の40代の方たちが高校や大学を卒業し社会に出たもののうまくいかず現在に至っていますって人もいると思いますのでその方たちに対して何か対応して頂ければと思います。 他には理由原因はさまざまですが年齢世代関係なく「ひきこもり」状態になっている人が熊本にも多くいると思いますのでその方たちの対応を市として何かして頂ければと思います支援センターがあるのはわかりますが幅広い対応ができているとは個人的には感じられません何せ以前は「ひきこもり」と言うと子供のイメージがありましたが今は大人の「ひきこもり」が多くなりよく言われている中高年の「ひきこもり」８０５０問題がニュースなどになるくらいそれに中高年の「ひきこもり」な人が問題と言いますか事件をおこしてしまったのでないか？と言われることもありますそんなことにならないためにもそういう状態にある人たちの人生を良き人生に導いて頂ければ思いますよろしくお願いします。 まずは就職氷河期世代の人にしても中高年の「ひきこもり」な人にしてもそういう方たちが交流できる「場」があれば良...
