one of my family's most memorable experiences during our visit to Kyoto. the staff were extremely professional and welcoming, and very very friendly and humble. communication was easy as one of the lady staff spoke fluent Mandarin (we are from Singapore) :) although they are a relatively new shop, their services definitely do not disappoint!

after dressing us up very nicely, they did our hair extremely professionally and efficiently and recommended us beautiful hair accessories. I was particularly impressed as I have short hair which the staff could have just done in a simple updo, but she still made the effort to try out different looks and finally decided on a beautiful style which she took care to ask for my opinions as well. 💜

after completing the process, the store owner took a photo for us and even printed it out and gave us a copy at the end of the day when we returned! it was such a pleasant surprise and special gift.

as we walked in early ~9.45am, we were the first customers and there was no waiting time at all. but the owners did mention that a reservation might be better during peak travel periods like autumn or winter to avoid prolonged waiting, so please...

As I stepped out onto the streets of Kyoto in my haori, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and admiration. people stopped to compliment me on my attire, and I felt like I was truly experiencing Japanese culture in the most authentic way possible.

The entire rental process was seamless and enjoyable, thanks to the professionalism and attention to detail of the staff. super fun experience! we went with 4 people (2 women + 2 men) and went on a Friday at around 10:00! it was super quiet and they greeted us so friendly!! they helped us pick out our kimonos, belts and did our hair so pretty 🥹 i loved it!! we got the kimono experience for €14 on klook (with a discount code YUMYUMYAZZ) and then we paid an extra ¥1000 (€5,78 pp) cash to get a prettier hairstyle. they were super kind and did it all very efficient and quick but not rushed at all. we could choose our own hair ornaments and handbags! we got an umbrella against the sun, my friend got a katana sword lol and everything is included in the price! it was a lovely experience and very close to ninenzaka!! really recommend!!! affordable, quick, extremely kind and...
