Best gelato ever! Conveniently located on the western entrance of Shimogano Shrine. Gelato menu is changing everyday but at that time there were cocoa, hojicha, mango, pistachio, milk, and rum raisin. Ordered cocoa, mango, hojicha, and avogadro for total of 2090 yen. All was great and delicious! Mango and cocoa are especially my favourites. Owner and staff are super nice. There is no seat for dine in but if you walk to shrine's parking spot, there are some places to seat. Definitely a gem...

Leaving Shimogamo Shrine, you stumbled upon a charming sight through a window – delicate red cups that irresistibly drew you in. Marked on my map to go, finally visited for gelato! Definitely up to my expectations. It was difficult to choose as all flavors look appealing. Had mango and milk in the end, sweetness is just right. You can sit in the shop to enjoy your gelato while street watching, kinda relaxing in a way. Right behind the shop, it’s the entrance to Shimogamo shrine.
