2nd STREET — Local services in Nagoya

I visited this 2nd Street location today and had a very unpleasant experience. The staff member was extremely rude and unhelpful. I wanted to buy a watch and simply asked why it wasn’t running and if it needed a battery. Instead of responding politely, he snatched the watch from my hands and said “Japanese only.” This was very disrespectful. The store advertises “10% tax-free” and clearly welcomes international customers, yet the staff showed no willingness to communicate, not even through a translator app. Completely...

We found lots of good items here, particularly sweaters and cardigans (maybe because we visited in autumn). The prices are cheap (about 500 - 1500 yen), and a lot of items are good quality brands made with cashmere or wool.

There are three floors, but the stairs are very steep and narrow, so be careful if you have any mobility problems.

I saw a lot of complaints about the staff in the other reviews, but they were nice when we purchased our items. I like that they don't hover while you are browsing. It was a fun...

Good selection of low priced 2nd hand clothes; however the staff do LACK SERVICE MIND. There was one young female staff running up and down the stairs trying to put things back on the shelves/racks, with her eyes checking on customers to make sure everyone put stuff back. She really radiated moodiness. Every time we asked her something she seemed super frustrated!! I understand she is surely tired from her work, but if you are not ready to work, please don't put it on innocent paying...
