Fa-So-La Tax Free Asakusa — Local services in Narita

If you have any snacks or souvenirs that you want before flying out, this is the place. All the staple Japanese brands and products are sold here, plus tax free too, for foreigners as long as you spend over a certain amount (over 5000 yen if I recall correctly). The snacks I got here were just as good, both taste and quality like the Tokyo bananas I bought here. It can get pretty crowded, as expected from an international airport. But Fa-So-La and their staff did an amazing job keeping the place near and tidy amongst the hand-grabby customers. As they say, you can never get too many things from Japan haha. It's my first time in Japan and I bought a souvenir keychain here and a fridge magnet. I dropped the magnet and it broke so I went to the cashier to pay for it. They said it's ok and replaced it for free. Staff was accommodating especially the male staff with glasses at the cashier. It was last minute purchase to use up my icoca yen. If i had more yen, I would've bought more from this shop. Some items are cheaper than the ones you find in Tokyo. Will recommend your shop and will definitely visit again when I go to Japan....

Bought some chocolates and souvenirs here last month. I bought a lot of stuff here which is cheaper from the store when visiting Tokyo. Show the staff at the cashier your boarding pass and they will give you tax-free for the item bought there. I wish they can open earlier like 7am or 6.30am, because the morning flight usually is 8.30am and there will be a long queue when purchasing stuff here. Please check the time when buying...
