This is lovely riverside area which stretches a fair distance along the river and effectively provides a relaxing walking space from the RIHGA Royal Hotel up to the park. There are shops here and there, and many entrances to little train stations. You can get good views of the far bank. Spotted a heron here one day. I think that’s supposed to be good luck, but they are more fearsome looking birds. Anyway. A nice way to enjoy the river and stay away from the cars. Not so good in the rain as there isn’t really any shelter.
