Playville by Børnelund — Local services in Osaka

This playville is located directly below the tallest building in Osaka. See photo. This is a wonderful indoor/outdoor play area for toddlers up to around 7 years old. Admission is a little expensive but the place is air conditioned. So when it is boiling hot in June and you don’t want your little toddler playing outdoors, then this is worth it. More than half of the patrons were tourists. I clearly observed the local Japanese families were favored heavily by the staff over tourist families. That was unfortunate bc the tourists were very respectful and kind to everyone. Thank goodness the little kids did not notice...

Playground is really nice and clean and they have a lot of games and crafts for kids BUT their “rules” made my kid cry for half hour. I paid for the entrance and using all the equipment and crafts supplies which included in fee. So when my kid did some artwork from paper and scotch and few beads I’m expecting to take it with me. Because I already paid for that. But no. You can’t take it with you. Why? Because you can’t take it. This is rule. Even when I suggested to pay more for the materials still no. My kid was so confused and sad that she started crying...

We went to the playground with my two kids, one is 9 and one is 7. It has the indoor and outdoor parts. My kids has a very good time in the playground. Especially, it has the art section which allows the kids to be very creative to draw on the ground or glasses. One thing I want to mention is that the staff is super helpful and patient with my kids. He drew with them, played with them even though we speak different languages ( Japanese and English). My son did miss the staff when we left. Thank you for having us and making such good memories...
