We walked in first thing in the morning yesterday to enquire about the ring-making workshop, We could not speak Japanese so we would assume just like other stores, we could use google translate to communicate. Unfortunately when we showed the staff the translated Japanese words regarding booking an appointment, she rolled her eyes and was visibly impatient with us. On the website, it says 2:30 was available, but she offered us 4:30. When I asked her if there are other time slots available, she rolled her eyes again and said 4:30 yes or no. I felt so uncomfortable with the way we have been treated. We then asked to see the tray of sample rings with different material and thickness, she just pointed at the window, but they hadn’t put the sample tray out hence we asked for it initially. When I explained the tray wasn’t there, she rolled her eyes again and sighed and pulled out a sample tray unwillingly. After checking out the sample rings, we realised the rings were of such poor quality and light. We have looked at other ringmaking shops and the ones from ringram were by far the worst quality of all. We ended up taking our business just up the street and we ended up with much nicer quality rings. ——- Looking at recent reviews, another customer had experience similar bad attitude to us. I highly recommend for the store owner to investigate who that person was as you are certainly losing business...

The lady at the front desk greeted me with rudeness telling me that “why can’t you communicate in English”!!! She has zero patience with the customer!
She can speak decent English! It is her attitude toward my wife and I make us extremely uncomfortable. We have no choice but to leave the store with anger!
From the moment we entered the store, she has been super inpatient with us. We were left at the table without any instructions at all after her cold greeting. I decided to measure my finger size by using the tool which left on the table right in front of us. She came to us and yelled at us for touching it. And assume us do not speaking English at all judging by our face!

Read moreI purchased a gold-plated ring from Ringram Namba on May 21, 2025. I was informed at the time of purchase that the plating may wear off over time, which I understood. However, I didn’t even wear the ring because it was hot in Osaka and I didn’t want sweat to damage it.
Despite that, I noticed a spot where the plating had already come off without ever being worn.
When I contacted the store with my receipt, they said they couldn’t find my purchase and told me that peeling is “inevitable,” even after a few days. They refused to offer a replacement and only offered to check if it might be repairable—completely dismissing the fact that the damage occurred before any use.
I’m extremely disappointed in both the product quality and the customer service. If a ring shows visible damage straight out of the box, that’s not acceptable. I won’t be shopping here again and wouldn’t recommend...
