Shichifukujin Temma Station — Local services in Osaka

Kushikatsu is an Osaka specialty and definitely something you should try. It's right outside Temma station.

Excellent service and atmosphere. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. A worker there spoke Chinese fluently, and the one cooking spoke enough English to point out which Kushikatsu was which. They also had both English and Chinese menus, which was really nice compared to the slightly less foreigner friendly izakayas in the neighborhood.

Location was pretty busy when they came. Told us to go away. Unsure if it was because they were full or if they just didn’t want to accommodate foreigners. When she went back in she definition told the others that we were English speakers.

Tiny space but food was great, super crispy w fresh ingredients. Also servers were really nice and friendly, even though I couldn’t speak jap, they were very accommodating.
