Doutor Coffee Tenma-eki-mae ( JR Temma Station ) — Restaurant in Osaka

The location is a little small but there is a second floor up a very narrow set of stairs that provides extra seating. The soy burger on the menu isn't available at this particular store. On the downside I don't think there are electric outlets, in case anyone is hoping to charge up while taking a break. It can be a nice place to take it slow after shopping or eating a meal around the shopping arcade. Since it's Tenma, the store isn't exactly squeaky clean in feel...

Very rude staff that hates foreigners. Bought a coffee and drank it, then my wife came in later with the kids and she also bought a coffee. She took the kids to the restroom, and not one minute passed when the rude waitress came up to me and demanded to know if I was buying anything, insinuating I should leave if I didn't (the rude waitress is pictured here). There are many of these Doutor coffee shops in Japan, and each of them are roughly the same. Almost all of the coffee is made from one single machine, so it never changes. This shop is different only because it is not a nice place to be. The interior is quite rough and the seats, tables and benches look poorly constructed or made by some amateur.
