Outstanding lunch. Highly recommended.
Came for a work lunch, group of 6. The atmosphere would be great for casual meals or dates.
Choice of 5 or 6 pasta dishes, soup and focaccia.
All dishes were great. The soup was a chilled cucumber lime, it was great, especially for the season, it's getting hot. My choice was the pasta of the day, it was a great take of a tomato ragi with various meats. The flavors complemented each other well, Portion was generous, I rolled out of the restaurant beyond replete.
For 500 yen more an extra salad was available which offered fantastic takes on Italian starters but with a Japanese twist, like tempura fried zucchini. Heaven.
My lunch was 1500 yen, very happy with the price. Bargain for the quality, atmosphere and great food.
I didn't try speaking English, not sure how the staff's English is, but they are so friendly I imagine language would not...
Read moreWe had an amazing a La carte dinner. Highly recommend the pasta dishes - the pasta are made in house and cocked to perfection. The use of cheese and olive oil is generous. Love the home made olive focaccia which has a crunchy crust and airy texture - freshly baked and sliced in front of your eyes, one couldn’t help but feeling being invited to a big Italian family home. The food comes out slowly but we didn’t mind it at all - sometimes good food is best appreciated at...
Read moreFood was average. Pasta with clams was good but watery, needed a bit more olive oil to smooth out the pasta. Uni pasta was a disappointment- the pasta was essentially carbonara, however the butter and cheese overpowered the uni. Uni was overly seared, which had killed its natural taste. A disappointment ! Finally, the duck was too well cooked and roughened the meat. Overall, I rated this place for a 3 for average cuisine. Good for a meal, but don’t do this for a...
