Recommended by a friend to try this place out as I was looking for unique ramen. Oyster ramen definitely qualifies as unique. This place is behind the Lotte hotel and it not that hard to find even though the signage is all in Japanese. The staff does not speak English and the menus are also in Japanese. However, there are no problems as the menu has pictures and if you can recognise the price and the general Japanese characters, you will buy the right thing. As well, the staff doesn't have to talk to you like in other ramen shops where they ask you whether you want your noodles hard or soft. They don't ask here, for better or for worse. The ramen itself was very interesting because of its strong oyster flavour. I love oysters and the soup taste is highly infused wihh oyster flavours. What put it overboard was the oyster that comes with it. It was fresh and cooked well but combining it with the strong broth, the oyster taste was too much to my liking. So if you like super strong oyster flavours, this is a must-visit. Aside from that, the meat and veg and the noodles are standard. The gyoza was good but not that special either. This place is...

I ordered oyster tsukemen (920 yen). The colour of soup is so unique, it has a kind of green curry-ish look. I could smell and taste some flavours of Oyster from the soup.
It’s absolutely unique type of ramen and I enjoyed it. I appreciate their topping is simple. The toppings consist of two sautéed (?) oysters, negi, shreadered seaweed and sprout.
Unlike other places, this ramen shop mainly put vegetables so the taste of soup was more appealing to me.
Also I appreciate how friendly the owner was... I put a 1000 yen (which has been folded for a while) and vendor machine didn’t accept it. Then the owner noticed that so quick and helped me to get an order ticket.
I love this...
Read moreIf you love oyster and ramen, you're going to love this place! The soup is extremely creamy and buttery, leaving slight scent of oyster. It was a little bit too salty towards the end (especially the boiled egg!). Thankfully I didn't have unpleasant experience, however it was dead silent while eating the ramen. I usually eat and exchange comments about it, so it was surely awkward for me. Also the price is slightly higher than average (considering the fact that the broth is made of oyster, maybe it depends). Approximately 15 seats are available,...
