Outdoor Courts — Local services in Tokyo

Very bad experience at Ariake outdoor tennis court. We did rent a court with light for 2hours (17:00 to 19:00) since almost one month, for me and my Japanese wife. The staff at the reception given us the court number 12 without any indication, on this court there was already people playing on, so we had to go back again to reception (loosing about 15minutes), they given us the court number 15 (with no others indications) with a very bad surface and without light. After more than one hour, we asked to a guy who was close of the court, because these court were closing a 18:00, and finally the court we reserved was on courts A and not courts C!!! But at the reception they didn’t give us any indication (even on the document they given to us, there was no indication about court C or A, just the number of the court (12 and after 15). We finally just could play 40 minutes on the court we did reserve, with light and good hard surface. We will go to tennis courts close of Kinshisho next time (where we go usually), where we never had any problems, and the right court always been available at the right time when we arrive, and no problem at the reception with the court with reserved. And will not waste again our money (3500¥) and time at Ariake tennis courts again… It was the first, and last time we went to Ariake...

良く土曜日夕方ごろ利用します。 コート数も多く、都営のテニスコートにしては予約が取りやすいです。 駐車場は50台くらいは停められそうです。満車率はそんなにだと思います。

施設は綺麗で更衣室も広くてシャワー室も比較的綺麗な方かと思います。
