Tamashii Nations Tokyo Store location peacefully set on the left adjacent shopping area to the JR Akihabara Station. At first glance it’s excited to see the popular anime store and upon entering while the eyes adjust from the natural outdoor lighting to the artificial Indoor lighting you start recognizing some of your favorite characters. Many of your favorite characters are meticulously presented in each display arrangements. It was interesting to see a video presentation on the creation of the molds used to make the parts for the different characters. From the previous releases on the various Gundam figures to the Mazinger figures, their displays are so beautifully presented. In terms of purchasing items, there are a few characters available for in-store purchase only. I’m sure this varies per availability on characters and date of release for figures. Anyone shopping here may pick up a rare item. I feel the Tamashii Nations Tokyo Store is more of an exhibition on their mainline figures. Depending when you go, displays will change and items for sale will vary. FYI - there is another Tamashii Nations store between the two GIGO stores on Chuo-dori Avenue. Go out there and explore!
