Be wanted of a classic tourist trap! They catch you with a free fruit juice and rush you into ordering something to eat. Since we were hungry we gave it a try, and deeply regretted it soon afterwards. First of all, we paid almost 30⏠for 2 main dishes (1x rice and 1x noodles with chicken and/or fish), including 1x starter. The taste was far beyond what we were used from other food trucks in Mauritius. When the woman from this food truck brought us our meals, she completely mixed them up with some meals from other persons. She did not even bother to sort them out, instead, she was kind of rude and told us to figure out the proper meals by ourselves. Well, I guess we should have seen the signs that of a classic tourist trap and should have walked by. Hope that others can prevent this disappointment...
   Read moreThe location of Chez Hans is quite nice and they allow you to sit at a table on the beach which is calm and pleasant.
The wait staff is very friendly and almost familial with how they treat their guests. A friend in our group went there a couple of times and they even gave him a Chez Hans T-shirt.
The food was good but honestly a bit costly for what it was. Felt like Boston prices for local food which didn't quite match up. I would go back in a group (for the atmosphere) but wouldn't go back alone just...

Yes definitely I'll go back.. ofcourse You're at the beach, there were super lots of flies on my fish as I was eating & it was annoying but the taste of the food was good, the guts working there too were nice. So all in all if u want a hotel experience go to a hotel, personally it really made my birthday exceptionally idyllic...
