Loved the Location and style. Mattress was hard but acceptable. But the complaint is about the noise. I stayed on lv2 on the left hand side and the music downstairs we're streaming all day long till Maybe 2-3am in the morning. The window is just thin glass so that didn't help much at all. Already put on my earplugs But didn't change much.
The male manager Looking guy was really nice. However one female receptionist (later on found out She's martha) was very rude. I came back around 6pm got water and grocery handful. She stopped me and asked me to show her my wrist. I had no clue But She then picked up the call. There was no explanation what so ever. I guess i am ordered to wait so i waited. I asked her is there a problem She just gave me a look meaning 'wait'. She made the call and then the manager guy came and asked me whether i have a wristband. I said i was not given one. He asked me if i stay here. I was like mate you checked me in yesterday. Then He realised and gave me the wristband. i found the female Staff very unpleasant for me as a guest. She looked at me up and down like i am a thief.
They also don't do luggage storage even tho i said i am coming back the next day and i offered to pay just plain nono which was quite...
Read moreWe literally changed our travel plans because of how precarious the conditions of this hotel were. But first, I have to admit a few good things:||||- It's dead center of the town.||- It has the beautiful, classic mexican construction style an architecture fan will love.||- It is very clean overall, you can see the cleaning personnel walking around pretty much all the time.||||Now for the yugular. I'm a bit sorry I'm leaving this, but I say it for people to know what they might get into:||||- Wireless internet connection is dreadful||- Rooms are very small, you can barely walk comfortably inside.||- The bathrooms are really small, and the shower space is not separated, so in essence your whole room can get flooded while you shower.||- There's about 2 plug outlets total per room, even if it's a double room.||- You will be lucky to find some room to get out of the taxi to go into the hotel, since the street is a single lane and there is no parking.||||I know that one comes to a hotel just to rest when in a trip,...
Read moreI stayed there for two nights and the hotel (built in the 1700s) was 3 minutes from Guanajuato’s historic center. The hotel was quite charming but a makeover would definitely rate 5-stars.||The room was adequately sized, clean and the shower was hot.; just the thing after a long day exploring the magnificent gem of a city, Guanajuato. Guanajuato is truly one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico as noted by in its World Heritage designation.||I would stay in this hotel again for a night or two as the price is reasonable but, for a longer stay with someone else, I would step up to a more luxurious hotel… higher up for a better city view.||My only complaint was that the TV was of the smallest type which was of negligible value as “all” the channels appeared to be in Spanish. Note: Guanajuato is a city of 194,500 residents with only approximately a 400-strong expat community; not including visitors. You need to speak...
