I had the incredible opportunity to visit Cointree, and I was deeply moved by the work they do for children in underserved communities, particularly in Mexico. Their mission—to provide proper care, education, medical support, and nourishment—goes beyond just meeting basic needs. They ensure that each child has the opportunity to grow, learn, and develop in a loving and supportive environment.

Seeing firsthand the conditions that many of these children live in—homes with limited resources and diets lacking proper nutrition—was truly eye-opening. It made me realize the vast disparities that exist and inspired me to think about how I can personally contribute.

I recently had the privilege of volunteering at Cointree NGO in Tulum, and it was an experience I will never forget. During my time there, I had the opportunity to meet children who face significant challenges, including limited support from their parents, financial struggles, and a lack of guidance. Despite these hardships, their smiles and positive attitudes were truly inspiring.

We spent quality time with the children, playing games, going fishing, and sharing our dreams and motivations with each other. It was heartwarming to see how they tried their best to communicate, showing kindness and resilience in the face of adversity. The children’s joy and the genuine connections we made during our time together were incredibly fulfilling.
