What a beautiful, short hike in the middle of the city! It's so accessible and doable for anyone of any level. I see toddlers and the elderly taking their time to make their way up with no difficulty.

Once you get to the summit, take your time to take in the gorgeous view of the city, the crater and the cool air around you.

There are clean facilities at the "entrance", before you start climbing up the path...

Definitely not something worth visiting. Super poor view. Im from China and spent many years in Australia (and visited some other countries), so speaking for my personal experience: don't waste your time here. But for fellow New Zealand people where I suppose you don't have anywhere to go (literally), you may consider spending half a day climbing this little hill. The pics are really Everything you can...

Parked on Rautangi Road near My Eden township and followed the bush path up. Fantastic. Took 20 mins with two kids under ten. Went up some grassy goat paths to bypass the roadway, but you could take the lovely board walks for a more leisurely stroll. 360° view of Auckland. Little shade so...
