A really cool pizza takeaway located on the main Albert Street that is the town center for Whitianga. The place is open daily from 5 PM till 8 PM or till they get sold out. We arrived at 7:50 PM and they were sold out. The manager however saw us and asked if we had ordered, and when he found out we hadn’t ordered, he went back inside and checked and informed us there was dough for one more pizza left. This was really kind of him. They recommended the most popular pizza named Godzilla. The pizza was ready within 15 minutes of the order. Really 5 stars for the food, service, and pricing. The pizza was really great. The Chicken meat is Halal in this restaurant. They also have a wide variety of Vegetarian pizza options as well as Vegan pizzas. The pizzas only come in one size and 1 pizza is good for 2 people. Highly...

Delicious stuff!

Reading the reviews before, I really didn't understand how sourdough would earn such praise about changing the whole experience but I get it now! It's so much lighter, feels better after consuming and the crust was actually tasty!

Speaking of... so much actual flavour from fresh/high quality ingredients being cooked to perfection (special shout-out for the jalapenos) - you don't realize it until you have it done so well! We got the "shaka bro" and "foghorn leghorn" - both enjoyable!

Shame we'll miss out on this in Auckland, but will be sure to revisit & spread the word :)

Really disappointed with the service here. Have had the pizza in the past and know it tastes pretty good but this time was disappointing. I specifically ordered one of the pizzas to have only half mayonnaise due to an egg allergy and I did not receive this. I got hung up on when calling to resolve the situation after I declined the offer to pick up another replacement pizza, I did not think this was an acceptable resolution as it has been 45 mins after I had originally ordered and the family was already sitting down ready...
