New World Whitianga — Local services in North Island

Always very obliging staff I have held your store in high regard as my parents who have resided here since 1990.

BUT

My parents who are now 88 are loyal customers and have been since the 'good ole' price cutter originonly owned by great local folk who have been and still are generous community contributors. I certainly hope these ethics continue on.

My Mother of 87 at the time had her car badly damaged in the car park of NEW WORLD Whitianga in the DISABLED carpark to the right hand side of entrance to the building. I had communication finally with owner of the WHITIANGA Franchise after being 'fobbed off' by many at end of the phone .

My response was EXTREMELY dissatisfactry. NOT MEETING CUSTOMER SERVICE. DISRESPECTFUL.

YOU HAVE CCTV CAMERAS EVERYWHERE EXCEPT DISABLED CAR PARK DOMAIN AS THE OWNER HAPPILY AGREED TO HAVE NO INTEREST IN MAKING COMMITMENT TO DO SO . MY MOTHER'S CAR COST $2000 TO FIX THROUGH NEGLIGENCE OF YOUR INTEREST IN PEOPLE WITHIN YOUR COMPANY. THE VEHICLE WHICH TORE MY DISABLED MOTHER'S CAR APART OF COURSE WAS A 'PARK AND RUN' HAD A TRAILER ATTACHED WHICH WAS DECIDED UPON BY THE PANELBEATER /MECHANIC.

THE OWNER OF THE NEW WORLD STORE WHITIANGA SHOULD HAVE TAKEN MORE INTEREST IN MY OPINION OF JUSTICE THAN DISCLOSING MY SUGGESTION OF RESEARCHING THE CARPARK WITH REGARD TO THE VEHICLE WHICH DAMAGED MY MOTHER'S VEHICLE AT THE TIME AND LOCATION AS THERE WOULD HAVE BEEN CCTV COVERED.

I recently visited the New World Supermarket in Whitianga and had a great experience. Despite the store being on the small side, it was well laid out and had a good selection of items. I was able to find everything that I needed with ease.

One of the standout aspects of my visit was the staff. Everyone that I encountered was extremely helpful and pleasant, which made my shopping experience much more enjoyable. They were happy to answer any questions that I had and were always willing to go above and beyond to help me out.

In summary, I would highly recommend the New World Supermarket in Whitianga. The store may be small, but it is well laid out and has a great selection of items. The staff are the cherry on top, always willing to go above and beyond to...

Very bad experience the last time we shop with NW. we was doing the weekly shop here all good then we come to the tills and of course we had bought wine for the evening, get asked for ID even though I am 30, thought she was joking but no, so I handed over my Norwegian driving license, she replayed that I needed my passport to buy alcohol because the driving license wasn’t good enough. At this point i was really wondering if we should buy the rest of our shopping here. We spoke with a supervisor and all she said was that I have to stick with what my colleagues say.. i asked here what about the other times I have bought alcohol here and not got ID, she couldn’t answer and just said sorry..
