Bought a rat trap (wooden one) this afternoon from the store. As I walked past the store I noted that the product packaging was torn and didn't take a fuss about it. After work, I went back to the store to exchange the product for another rat trap (plastic one). The owner recognized me from the afternoon, but the owner was reluctant to take the product back, due to its torn packaging. I said this is how I'd received it from you and being very honest that I hadn't opened it at all. I also asked him to look at the video recording to take note of how he sold the product to me and he very rude to me saying he doesn't believe me, and that he would not sell such a product. He made excuses saying that it's hard work looking at the recording and doesn't have time to do so. The owner was not listening to me at all when I was trying to make him understand. This is very inappropriate of the owner to serve the customer with such kind of communication and being rude. I would NEVER recommend my friends to go to this place. Very disappointing.
Following the owner's response to my review, his comments are incorrect and not factual and are of a harassment and discrimination nature. If the owner was not able to comply with the request to view the footage of how the product was sold to me, that's his fault and he should admit or watch it, rather than calling me dishonest. If I was truly being dishonest, I wouldn't have approached it to be exchanged or advised him to watch the recordings. My work colleagues are a proof and can state that the product I showed them had a torn packaging just after I bought it from the store.
If the owner was not happy to accommodate my request for an exchange of product and thought I was being dishonest, he should have simply watched the video footage, rather than publicly making a discriminating comment and...

When I took them back I was told by the manager that they only have a 7 day return policy.
