Read moreWent to pick up my sister from work, normally a 10 min job. This time my ticket didn’t work so I tried two exits and called four times in total without an answer, had to send my sister inside to find a phone number that we rang two times without an answer. Finally when security answered told us to recall the button on the gate to be let out, we went to the gate security told us and a guy was already there trying to be let out we waited 20 minutes until we had enough and recalled security twice (they hanged up the first time) to which security told us with attitude the gate was broken and to go to the other gate. 10 minute pick up job turned into 45 minutes because they didn’t pick up the calls. Not once did they wonder why we kept ringing them. I have avoided parking in the Plaza for three months because of how many times I’ve had problems with tickets and The one time I thought I would trust it I get reminded why I only park...
Read moreLike any CBD Mall, there's a wide range of shops that occupy the outlets of the Plaza. Womens, Mens and Kids clothes and shoes, stationery shops, jewellery, banking, even a specialty candy shop. There's also a food court (although there isn't a large variety of food choices compared to other malls). There's also a few sets of bathrooms at either entry and a supermarket. It's also one of the only malls I've been to that makes you pay for parking if you take longer than an hour (which most people do, especially if they want to check out a few shops and eat, then shop a bit more). There's outside parking, on street parking and a parking building. It'd be nice for it to be like some other malls (i.e. The Base in Hamilton, Bayfair of Tauriko in Tauranga, Central Mall in Rotorua) where you can just park up and enjoy your shopping experience rather than having to pay to buy goods...
