Feeling a little bit sad about my visit to arroast today. I arrived at 3mins past 12 (which I understand they close at 12 on a Saturday) but the lights were on and the door open so thought I’d be sweet. All I wanted was a 1kg bag of beans and was told a couldn’t buy a bag cos they were closed. I buy beans all the time from Arrosta and they are always so positive but this time not so much. Just gutted I have to wait till Monday to buy beans...

Not only the best coffee in Palmerston North, but literally one of the best in New Zealand! Arrosta is even a close contender for Wellington's finest coffee. We're from Melbourne, so we think we know what we're talking about.

Not too much in the way of food unfortunately - they do have some focaccia, salads and toasted sandwiches on offer for a light lunch. A must-visit for coffee lovers...
