I was with Mohammed Hassan at the shop and the staff was terrible as the person on the phone said that’s fine we will Prepare in 10 mins and we even mentioned we want lots of onion which he agreed but when we turned up at the shop the guy said we don’t take dine in orders over the phone he said we only take takeaway orders A I said so fine you must have already prepared he said no I said ok make the tandoori he said ok. 10 Mins later he came and said it will take more than 30 mins to prepare - I don’t understand what the guy was up to looks like he didn’t want to prepare the tandoori. Then we really got angry. In the comments you mentioned you don’t take phone orders but that was incorrect as 2 Monday’s ago we ordered on the phone and came and ate. This guy is very unprofessional as he was just trying to blame us for lying which is very unpleasant for being a customer. We used to come and dine in at messy once a week but we won’t be coming there anymore and we will definitely tell our acquaintance about this. About 3 weeks ago this same guy took ourbtqndoori order and 15 mins later he came and said out of stock - I don’t understand why he has been doing this looks like he doesn’t want business to grow and have more customers TERRIBLE AND UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF. Very incorrect comment by you that we abused your staff - he was very rude and...
Read moreI’m not a food reviewer but I love food. Best South Indian restaurant near Mt roskill so far.
Food - I have ordered sambar rice with chicken 65, sch chicken fried rice, and bread halwa. Sambar taste was amazing and feels so nostalgic like having a sambar in India rather than the flavoured hot water what other restaurants give near by in the name of sambar. Chicken 65 was good but since I had to re heat it became soggy. Recommend to eat in dine in as it will be served as hot. Fried rice was spicy and so good. Fresh veggies has been cut and no frozen veggies or peas used in fried rice which is fanicating to see some one do with fresh veggies in this price range. Bread halwa was good, wouldn’t say excellent as the bread was deep fried in oil and made with ghee. Health conscious ppl please stay away from this as u can’t control with 1 box and u will go for the second one. Beware!
Service - was quick and no dramas, order was taken in a clear way and delivered smoothly on time.
Atmosphere - very decent and family attractive ambience.

Read moreI was disappointed that the buffet does not include lamb biryani while they are considered to be 'Biryani Specialists' as their name suggests. I attended with a group of five at 6pm and had wait for about 20 minutes for a table which is normal for a buffet. We were then informed the cost is now $23 per person and this is not indicated on any of their signage instore. The chicken biryani was good, but the only lamb dish served was finished with just gravy left in the buffet server for a long time. Just as we were about to finish our meal, a new lamb dish was added to the serving area. Both of chicken fry dishes had a lot of pieces of empty batter balls without the expected chicken fillings, yet it was presented as chicken, much to my dissatisfaction. The naans were few and far between. It appeared as if they very strictly controlled what food items were sent to the buffet counter especially when the restaurant was full. I will not recommend the buffet at this...
