I was driving through from dunedin to chch and stopped to buy onion sausages. My mum lives in aussie and she just loves these sausages.. we were recommended this place and it delivered... we would 100% buy from them again. The shop was spotless and the service/ family who greeted and served me were very welcoming and nice. Price was good too and the food.. was just amazing...chips were from fresh potatoes ( not pre packaged) and the battered was soooo good. I felt bad as my brain was in slow mode and I struggled to understand what the man was saying but it was more me not him ( so sorry didn't mean any offense I just hadn't slept the night before)

Well deserved...

A little underwhelming.... we got chips, hot dogs and sweet and sour pork. Was pretty excited after reading the great reviews but unfortunately our chips were undercooked and not very salty. The sweet and sour pork, I wouldn't recommend. They have said in other responses that theirs is just different and yes it is, but being different isn't always a good thing with food. I'm not trying to write this just to be negative, I sincerely think you should listen to the reviews about your sweet and sour pork and find a new recipe. The pork tastes and feels a bit too processed and leaves a strange taste. The hot dogs were good though and the staff were...

It's my local - even though its out of my way for me. Because the food is better and the service is great. The owners are always friendly and always have a smile.

Note: they no longer do lunchboxes. New owners that take over from 7th November 2023 and they may offer something. For now assume not.
