Mehtab Restaurant (kebab &Indian) — Restaurant in South Island

Tonight on the 10/10/24 i had ordered me and my brother dinner. we order around 8:40pm she said it will take around 10-15 minutes which is what they normally say.after around 20 minutes of waiting we went back inside to grab our order and it hadn’t even been started yet so we waited another 10 minutes went back in and it still was not started they did not start cooking it until about 9:20pm. once she had cooked it and started putting my sauces on i had asked for bbq and tomato sauce she started by putting mayo sauce on i had said no just bbq and tomato sauce she nods her head and proceeds to put mayo sauce then bbq and then tomato once she had finally given us our food i asked for my money back because i had been waiting for close to an hour for my food. she says she is just a working and ignored me and did not pay any attention to what i was saying.

I want my money back or a free feed next...

We had never visited that shop before, and wasn't sure what we wanted, and were asking questions about the menu. The blonde waitress, was exceptionally rude and abrupt toward us with her tone of voice, which we were rather shocked by her attitude. She said" Have you finally made up your minds"? We were deciding with each other as to what we would choose from the menu. She didn't seem to have any favorable customer service skills whatsoever. The other lady had a totally different attitude. We certainly will not be visiting that store in Oamaru again, especially if she's still working there. We visit many Takeaways, Restaurants, Clubs, Cafes etc all over NZ with our Business, and will be spreading the word to everyone we come in contact with just how rude this woman was, and the negative reputation she is giving Kebab...
