The pre-workout we purchased in-store for full price was about to expire in 2 weeks, so we contacted the store. The guy who sold it to us was understanding, and he apologized. We understand things like these happen. I took it in to see if they were able to replace it. A different guy was there today, and he offered to replace it with the new one they had on their shelves. I am glad he was able to replace it. Afterwards, he told me that we should've asked for a receipt and that we shouldn't have opened the container (1 scoop only, partner tasted it before I did my check, and I randomly did the check since I was checking my one) - I agree that we should have been more careful, but he came off a bit rude and there were no apologies or acknowledgement that they shouldn't have had those on the shelves.
