The Pearl milk tea tastes just like what you’d order from a bubble tea shop, perhaps even slightly stronger tea flavour. The packaging that everything comes in looks really nice too. This will make an awesome present for someone who enjoys bubble tea.

I have always wanted to make bubble tea at home for lots of reasons.... Because I love bubble tea, because I want to know what's actually in it; because I want to reduce my "way to large" plastic footprint; because I don't want to have to go to a mall; because I want to drink delicious bubble tea whenever I feel like it etc. etc. It took me a couple of attempts but I now think I can make a better bubble tea than I can buy. The entire whānau love the product and my 10 year old son loves the process of making it. The packaging is beautiful and would make a perfect gift (I'll be purchasing again for a friend's birthday soon). Highly recommended product. Thank you...

The syrup in their Passionfruit fruit tea kit is thick and FULL of flavour! I chose the English Breakfast tea to go with the kit and the flavours were as good as anything I've ever bought from a bubble tea shop. I chose the pineapple pearls that The Tea Box make themselves and they are sweet and chewy! Not too soft (I can't stand those instant pearls elsewhere as they're too soft) and not too hard.
