I have had the amazing privilege of learning from my beautiful whanaunga | relation - Rachel through the Rise2025 Tahi indigenous coaching program, the first of it's kind. Rachel is an incredible professional who leads, inspires and coaches in a way that brings about the best in indigenous peoples through an experience that coloured with the multiplicity of ways of being that are unique to indigenous communities. While on this journey Rachel has supported the powerful connection between myself and the many other indigenous coaches whom are on the journey together, it's a professional network of friends, bonded by the values and processes of the Tahi program as well as the expertise of Rachel and her team. The unique point of difference is the beautiful synergy of love, respect and clarity coupled with cultivation of a journey that is indigenous Māori . The combination of these elements brings about a strength through belonging that enables the courage to stretch yourself to grow towards being the best version of yourself in that moment. The utilisation of metaphors and values that are distinctively māori can translate across all cultures and bring about flourishing in an indigenous way. The metaphor that supports our learning to becoming a coach is the growth of a rakau from cultivation of soil - whakaritenga - through to the flourishing of the forest te ngahere.

Talofa my name is Moana, I am a Clinical Therapist and have worked as a Mental Health Professional for 20 years in New Zealand, Australia, and my home in Samoa. I wasn't sure what to expect when I decided to do the Tahi Programme as I'd heard of the Coaching Industry but not Indigenous Coaching. I was pleasantly surprised at what I'd learnt in the Tahi programme with the Amazing Indigenous Coaches and led by our amazing Master Coach Rachel Petero. All of the modules just seemed so relevant and culturally driven and not Clinical. I learnt so much more in Coaching and how it can be used in Mental Health as a safe practise. I feel like it has enhanced my work as a Therapist and I started Coaching my clients as soon as I'd completed the Tahi Program and was excited at the results with my clients in just a few sessions. There is certainly a place for Indigenous led Coaching in Health and specifically Mental Health in Early Intervention, Prevention and Recovery. I would highly recommend the Tahi Programme to our Pacific Peoples and grateful to Rachel and our Wahine in Aotearoa for reaching out to us and bringing the Tahi Programme to Samoa 🇼🇸 Malo le Toa 🥰

My journey with Rise Global has been transformational both professionally and personally. I completed the Tahi Indigenous Coach training in 2023. Since then I have resigned from my job of 10-years, started a business as an indigenous life coach as well as achieving some personal goals such as spending more quality time with my growing whānau and starting te reo Māori classes. The amazing and inspiring wāhine of Rise Global empowered me to make significant changes in a my life which have benefitted not just me but also my whānau. I now get to empower others whilst continuing to benefit from the supportive and courageous wāhine of Rise Global 💯

I am thrilled to share my experience with the TAHI program, a truly transformative journey that has exceeded my expectations, embodying compassion, and fostering a deep sense of accountability and autonomy.

The TAHI program is not just a course, but a holistic experience that has empowered me to thrive in adversity. It is rooted in a trauma-informed approach, creating a safe space for individuals to be challenged, yet supported throughout the process. The program's focus on Indigenous leadership is commendable, providing a unique platform for leaders to harness their unique superpowers.

The facilitators of the TAHI program are truly exceptional. Their expertise, coupled with their genuine passion for coaching, shines through in every interaction.

In the long term, I can see the positive impacts this program will have on my coaching career. It has given me the confidence to offer 1:1 leadership coaching, team coaching, and resilience workshops. I am excited about the future possibilities this program has opened up for me.

In conclusion, the TAHI program is a five-star experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to enhance their leadership skills and build their unique visions. It is a journey of self-discovery, growth, and transformation that is truly...
