I thought this market wasn't too bad at all! I needed some fruit for my breakfasts and headed here - found everything that I needed for pretty good prices. Some of the people working the stalls are hit and miss - I had one rather aggressive guy trying to sell me some stuff, but also one lovely seller who was patient and kind while I was stumbling through my needs in broken Spanish.

I'm giving it a 3 stars cause my reviews are being based on the current location of the market which is on the street since the market is being rebuilt. Food market is delicious and cheap, building or their busyness roof is not that nice. Hola les doy un dato ... que les voy a salvar de muchos disgusto no coman en el comedor del mercado toñita .. uno busca sentarse ahí por comodidad y rapidez obviamente se supone que la comida es más económica ... ese no se le.puede llamar comedor .. fui estafado me vendieron. Un míni pescado a 400 córdobas no llegaba ni a la media libra deberían de regular la municipalidad .. aparte el arroz estaba crudo bueno fue un desastre .. hablo precisamente de ese lugar comedor toñita comimos ahí xq estaba vacío.. siempre comemos en el.que esta en medio pero decidí ahí xq estaba vacío ya sabemos por que siempre esta así.. pues les digo no se sienten ahí... y si no me creen compruebenlo.. cuando le expresamos la molestia .. la respuesta fue vallanse al timón ahí hay restaurante por 400 pesos se los aseguro que encuentro buena comida ha ese precio .. que pena que actúen así matan el querer...
