Iguana Bar — Restaurant in San Juan del Sur (Municipio)

Excellent food. Terrific views. Really good food.

We've been there a few times. Check your bill carefully. They have tried to overcharge me both times I went for dinner. They only tried to overcharge me once during happy hour.

Most of the staff is very nice BUT I was recently laughed at several times by a server and made fun of, in spanish, over my order. He didn't realize I understood him perfectly and that I wasn't "a visitor who does not understand good food." I may not speak spanish well but I did clearly inform him I live in SJdS and asking for extra cheese for a chicken sandwich has nothing to do with my knowledge of good food. Yes, over a CHICKEN SANDWICH!!!!!

I don't believe my daughter or I will return. It was her treat to me on USA's Mother's day. She didn't want to ignore the day we've previously celebrated.

One of the best places in front of the beach San Juan Del Sur. The vibes here are simply amazing, specially when you want to enjoy the sunset with drinks, foods and friends or even family. You can feel the energy through your veins. They have different kind of food, but my favourite plate from them is the wings and the grilled chicken and fish fingers. Delicious! The only thing here is that they don't accept music requests, which for me is aweful, because They have a random playlist made by the owner and you literally, have to shut your mouth. I've been In nicaragua for about 4 months all over the country, this is the only place we have had bad drinks, they were not just bad, but terrible.

On top of that we got no service. We sat with empty drinks for over 1 hour and nobody cared to check on us, the place had 0 other customers, they just sat around.

On top of that it was happy hour, 2 for 1 drinks, the waiter confirmed that. But he refused to give us our second drinks and charged us the full price of the drinks even though he never gave us the happy hour.

Would not recommend this place to anyone and we definitely will not be back or recommend...
