Beautiful bar, friendly staff and seems to be a regular hangout spot for expats. They have different games each night of the week as well as specials. The drinks are good and the prices are fair. They also have vegan options in their food menu which is why I end up there so often. The Falafel Burger is yummy! Oh and the watermelon salad is amazing. Simple yet so good! Oh and don’t forget the infused rums!! Just regarding another review, every restaurant here adds 10% for tips not just Republika.

Lots of home made infused rum options. Owner is Juliette, a friend of a friends and has a really neat spot! Whether your here for a quick drink, trivia, poker, brunch on Sundays or just some wicked food any day of the week, you won’t be disappointed!! The Great Dane dog is super cuddly. Some great activities and specials throughout the week. Tuesday night trivia is always a fun night!

I had a grilled chicken that the entire plate tasted so bland. My boyfriend had a blue cheese burger which wasn't good either. Their service was super slow... They add 10% tip to the bill automatically... Just waste of money.. I'd never go back

I went to this place while on vacation with some of my Nicaraguan friends and right from the start we noticed how some people in their own country get discriminated. There was a woman, the bartender and she completely ignored us as we arrived. Then we waited for more than 15minutes and no one came to even ask if we needed to order anything. Finally one of my friends went to ask but still there was no interest from anyone to serve us. It was very insulting and rude how this place treats their customers. I’ll let everyone I know to avoid doing business at this place and ask their friends to do the same also. SHAME ON...

You know I know this is one of the oldest bars in San Juan del Sur, in fact I know it's one of the two oldest bars in San Juan del Sur I just can't remember which one is one and which one is two so we're going to go with the oldest.
