River Plate Garden is a true gem nestled in the heart of Abuja. As soon as you step into this enchanting oasis, you are immediately transported to a world of tranquility and natural beauty. With its lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and meandering pathways, it offers a refreshing escape from the bustling city.

The garden's design is impeccable, showcasing a harmonious blend of elements from various cultures. From the Japanese-inspired Zen garden to the charming English rose garden, every corner is thoughtfully crafted to create a delightful sensory experience. The attention to detail is evident in the well-maintained landscape, and it's evident that the staff takes great pride in preserving the garden's pristine condition.

Walking along the pathways, you can't help but be captivated by the captivating aromas of blooming flowers and the gentle sound of water trickling from the fountains. The garden also features picturesque ponds with graceful koi fish, adding to the serene ambiance. It's a haven for nature enthusiasts, offering a wide variety of plant species and attracting an array of birds and butterflies.

River Plate Garden is not only a feast for the eyes but also a place for relaxation and reflection. There are ample seating areas strategically placed throughout the garden, allowing visitors to soak in the peaceful atmosphere while enjoying a book or engaging in quiet conversations.

The garden is well-maintained and clean, thanks to the attentive and friendly staff. The entry fee is reasonable, considering the level of maintenance and the beauty it offers. Whether you're seeking a serene retreat, a spot for a romantic stroll, or simply a place to reconnect with nature, River Plate Garden is an absolute must-visit.

Overall, River Plate Garden in Abuja is a botanical paradise that combines natural beauty, meticulous design, and tranquility. River Plate Garden, true to its name is a place I had visited a couple of times before my last visit. I had gone there for a number of reasons ranging from appointments with someone, relaxation, recreation and so on. However, on my latest visit -yesterday- I saw the need to write this review. First, the place has grown over the years. It has grown in terms of popularity, consistent recreational, event center and catering services, among others. So, while I was there I witnessed an ongoing wedding reception program. If am not mistaken, there were probably two or more other wedding reception programs going on, in that venue, at the same time. Note this, River Plate Garden occupies a large expanse of land along the Ahmadu Bello Way, Abuja. I went there with someone who wanted to buy a local dish. I am sure it was either Amala, ewedu, jollof rice or something else, he wanted to buy. The parking lot was filled with vehicles and the security men were actively controlling the traffic flow and directing drivers where and how to park. The entire atmosphere was lively and interesting and I enjoyed some of the comedy, music and entertainment that came from the closest wedding reception taking place in the place. They public address system they used was loud and clear. At the end we left, and even though the person I went with complained a little about the cost of the food he bought, it was a memorable...

Palm Ave Restaurant inside River Plate garden. I think it is a new restaurant as it wasn't Google friendly finding the location.

To be quite honest I spent less than an hour here. I ordered a chicken kebab first with cocktails which took more than 30mins. Service is poor, The food is basic. While they have a beautiful cozy space, I don't know about the lazy teddy bears sitting comfortably on their chairs🤣😂🐻. The waiters should be retrained, given smarter uniforms especially the Ladies. If you're looking to have any alcoholic drink, this is not your go to. We didn't know alcoholic drinks were not served in this location. I will give it 3/5. Maybe with time, I believe it will get better. They have an outdoor lounge area with cabana s which is cool. Palm...

River plate is a huge garden with a variety of activities ranging from restaurants, grills bars to event centres. I've been there twice. Once to get food from Amala Maami a very affordable minimalist container restaurant (The meals are average you can check my page for detailed review but for the price I do recommend it,Not the best amala ive tried though tbh here in Abuja) and the second for a friends wedding at one of the halls in the garden. There's free parking lot inside and a few options for events such as birthdays, bachelorette parties, mini family celebrations e.t.c Check out the garden definitely 💯 Also I think it's part of a bigger park (Central park) so there are other gardens too.
