The Countdown Sports Lounge — Local services in Muscat

We 3 friends went during the 2022 World Cup match between Germany and Spain. There were sofa where we wanted to seat. But they didn’t allow us as those were reserved. Even after the halftime of game, we wanted to move from bench to sofa. Still they were not allowing us with the same reason. We watch the whole match on bench and those sofas were still empty. Let’s move to the food, we have orders 3 dishes (dynamite shrimp, chicken lollipops and chips) plus drinks calculating our 3 persons’ prepaid cost. Both dynamite shrimp and chicken lollipops taste same. Mostly like Indian food taste. Let’s move to the bill, it was pre paid. I forgot, it was 15 or 20 OMR per person. So we ordered the food and drinks based on that total amount (45 or 60 OMR for 3). Once the match finished, they came with extra 15 OMR charges which were hidden. Overall, customer service is awful. Sorry, forgot to add one more. Once we went to entrance asked about there offer, they said it full and they have to check for us. It's just a baf experience. There is this one staff member who always has an attitude towards the guests. I have complained to the management before, and the deal was that she never comes to our table whenever we are there. Which went fine for 6 months. 2 days ago again, I had some guests over. we were helped by the other team, which was great as usual.
