Casa de la Carne | El Cangrejo — Local services in Bella Vista

One of the many reasons I like living in EL. Cangrejo it's is a self-contained neighborhood. Having this grocery store in the community means I don't have to fight traffic to go to the grocery store. I can get some fresh air, and fresh food at the same time and be home within minutes. As an expact, shopping can be a little difficult since I am not fluent yet, in Spanish. The staff here try to anticipate my needs when I am struggling, which makes my shopping experience so...

Medium sized grocery store. Always improving. Prices are average. OVERPRICED bread store inside with merely average to below average bread. Meat are always smells bad...obviously from old or bad meat/fish. For that reason I have never bought fresh (sic!) meat there. Everything else is ok, except that at the checkout they charge you 10 CENTS per bag. This review may seem negative but the place is decent as long as you avoid the fresh....ish...

This is a small supermarket, like a big store that sales food to cook and stuff. Casa de la carne translates to meat house. They also make and sell their own burgers (burguers to cook at home), please try the angus burgers. Actually, I only go for the burgers because they are the best in Panama. $ 16 for 8...
