El Pavo Real — Restaurant in Bella Vista

Pavo always rocks. It is one of my favorite places in the El Cangrejo neighborhood.

American rock music, cold beer, full bar, 2 pool tables, and a menu. Remember it is a bar, not a restaurant! But... the chicken cordon blu is tasty!

Wednesday nights there is a large group of English speakers on the front patio. They are very inclusive, intelligent, fun people.

Fridays and Saturdays they typically have a live band, playing Rock. They are closed on Sundays... not sure about Mondays.

It isn't a disco scene, but easy to make...

Last Saturday there was a record swap/sale going on outside, and later love bands inside. The one I saw was somewhere in between Megadeath and Pantera. The sounds was actually quite good for a smallish venue. Beer prices are the usual via Argentina expensive. Juke is playing classic rock. They have two decent looking pool tables. The only bad thing is the persistent smell of what I can only guess is bathroom sanitizer, but I'd still come back...

Muy buen lugar. Buena atención y casi todas las marcas de cervezas, tanto nacionales como importadas. Muy buenos precios, ya que mientras otros lugares te venden las cervezas en $5 aquí las cervezas importadas te cuestan $3. El único lugar de todo Vía Argentina que pone buena música. No vayas a esperar que aquí pongan basuras como Bad Bunny. Aquí solo ponen la mejor música. La mejor música, reitero. También tienen cocina para que puedas pedir tus picadas. Y, dos mesas de billar que puedes usar solo por estar consumiendo. Mejor que este bar, en todo Vía Argentina, lo dudo. Definitivo los mejores. ACTUALIZACIÓN: YA CASI NUNCA TIENEN LAS BUENAS MARCAS DE CERVEZAS!! Por lo visto la administración de este bar cambió y ya no tienen cocina. NO TIENEN COCINA!! NI NADA QUE COMER!! Las buenas marcas de cerveza (Corona, etc) ya tampoco las tienen. Yo, antes, calificaba este bar en un sólido 5 estrellas, pero ahora, a duras penas, llega a 3 estrellas.
